The library has been conceived as a new concept more than a book repository, it shall be a melting point and joint learning space. The role of the library person in-charge will be redefined. This person, who also preserve and maintain contents, will be a more relevant player of direct support and monitor of professors and students.
It is formed by the collections of Architecture, Science, General Science Studies and Engineering. Some of them were libraries formed within each school and academic department to meet the primary needs of the users with specialized services.
The library’s collections are mainly formed by printed and electronic texts, reference books, technical standards, databases, magazines, among others.
