COLLECTION
1:
Our
Archive has now a days the photographic collection called "País
de Luz", this one consists in a selection of 100 black and
white pictures taken on the Social Photography Workshops (TAFOS)
between the years 1986-1996. Over this period, TAFOS, together with
popular organizations and communities, organized thirty photography
workshops on the north, middle and south of Peru.
A
noteworthy part of this collection are the works produced by the
villagers from Puno and Cuzco, Morococha's mineworkers, the residents
from El Agustino in Lima and the students from San Marcos University.
This
collection was introduced for the first time in September, 1996,
on the Cultural Center gallery of the Catholic University's (PUCP)
in Lima.
