Daniel
Pajuelo's File is donated to TAFOS/PUCP
On
August 16th, 2007, Daniel Pajuelo's photographic archive was
donated to the Pontificia Universidad Católica del
Perú. The TAFOS/PUCP Photographic Archive, located
on the Faculty of Science and Arts of Communication, will
be in charge of preserving, systematizing and scanning this
donated file.
Daniel
Pajuelo was one of the most outstanding and emblematic members
from the TAFOS project, his beginnings as a photographers
go back to El Agustino's workshop, in 1986. After that, he
became a graphic reporter in important Medias until he died
on the year 2000.
His
personal file has 199 films taken in color and black and white.
Mario
Testino's "Lima-Peru"
The
book called "Lima Peru", edited by the photographer
Mario Testitno, presents the work of more than one hundred
peruvian artists; whom, using visual representations, are
offering a testimony about the faces, streets, parks and squares
from Peru's capital. The TAFOS/PUCP Photographic Archive has
contributed with this book, presenting a picture from Daniel
Pajuelo.
The
book may be consulted on the TAFOS/PUCP's library on the regular
opening hours, Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 13:00 and from
14:00 to 16:00.
Santiago
Roncagliolo's "La Cuarta Espada" in our library
We,
now, have two copies from the book "La Cuarta Espada"
from the Peruvian writer Santiago Roncagliolo. In this edition,
in which there's a picture from the TAFOS/PUCP Photographic
Archive, the author describes the story about Abimael Guzmán
and Sendero Luminoso (terrorist group in Peru). |
