La actividad se realizará los días 4 y 5 de diciembre de 2 p.m. a 4 p.m. en modalidad virtual.
Sobre el taller
El uso de la Inteligencia Artificial (IA) genera una serie de controversias; no obstante, es innegable que estamos ante una oportunidad única y que es necesario comenzar a explorar sus posibilidades. El ámbito de las Humanidades es uno de los que más puede beneficiarse de este nuevo paradigma, por todo lo que aportará a los procesos de búsqueda y análisis de la información. En este curso, los asistentes tendrán la oportunidad de interactuar con los chatbots en boga actualmente, con el objetivo de hacer uso de una selección de aplicaciones de utilidad para la investigación, desarrolladas en base a los fundamentos de la IA. Todo ello bajo el denominador común de ser herramientas que se pueden utilizar de manera gratuita.
Sobre el tallerista
Manuel Joaquín Salamanca López (Universidad Complutense de Madrid, España) es doctor en Historia y premio extraordinario de doctorado. En la actualidad es Profesor Titular de Paleografía y Diplomática en la Facultad de Geografía e Historia de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, coordinador del Máster en Patrimonio Histórico Escrito-UCM y coordinador-gestor del Campus Virtual -UCM.
